RIYADH: 抖阴短视频 on Monday hailed the killing of Daesh leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi who had "distorted" the image of Islam, and hailed his killing.
Al-Baghdadi was killed by US special forces in northwest Syria and "died a coward" by blowing himself up after he was cornered in a tunnel, Donald Trump said Sunday.

"The Saudi government appreciates the great efforts of the US administration in pursuing the members of this dangerous terrorist organization, which distorted the true image of Islam and Muslims around the world and committed atrocities and crimes that contradict the most basic human values in many countries including the Kingdom," 抖阴短视频's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The ministry said the Kingdom "is continuing its efforts with its allies, led by the United States of America, in combating terrorism, drying up its sources and confronting its dangerous criminal ideology."

Donald Trump said Al-Baghdadi was killed during a night time raid.
